Ok, Ok, I know I was hankering for a girl, but you know what, I actually don't feel disappointed! Honest guv! It was great to see the little tacker wriggling away, and if I take a look at my two boys playing together, it can't be all bad! I am grieving for the pink knitting, but maybe I'll just have to get more inventive with the blue stuff!
In the 5 years that I have been running The Wool Shack Knitting Circles I think I have only had to cancel 1 due to ilness (be it mine or any other family member) and this month, is the 2nd time. Luka was struck down with gastro last night (vomiting from 12 midnight till about 3am!!!!) and was a bit poorly sick today too, poor little mite! I took a photo of him asleep on our rug, bum in the air, looking angelic! As you can imagine, no work got done today, which is a real bugger, as it was BUSY, but c'est la vie!
Hello again! I am alive, just been incredibly busy with The Wool Shack Sale, life, children, pregnancy etc! Anyhow, I am still here, and thought I would post a quickie shot of the much anticipated Pirate Birthday Party Treasure Chest Cake for my eldest small person. Joe will be 4 years old, and tomorrow we will be hosting 9 hungry pirates for much fun and frivolity! I shall post photos of my best Pirate decoration efforts (I've even managed to find some atmospheric background Pirate music....yep...there is such a thing!).
Will be filling you in on recent knitting jaunts and quilting purchases as soon as my world slows down!
Just had my 12 week scan, and this is a photo for you! Scary huh? Hopefully He/She will get cuter as they grow (or we're in trouble).
Feeling better now (the odd bought of nausea) and back into knitting! HORRAH!
This has to be one of the most gorgeous views in the world! It's Rottnest Island which is an untouched holiday destination off the coast of Perth! I love it, it's my favourite place in the world (really!) and this was the view from our balcony! Here I sat (when I wasn't in the water) knitting away and catching up on Cast On Podcasts on my ipod (Brenda Dayne is my Hero!!). It was bliss, and I want to go back :-(
I shall post about what I was knitting soon! In the meantime, just salivate over the crystal blue waters and imagine you are there, sipping on an ice-cold beer.....mmmm....mmmmmmmmmm
My birthday Pinata is still hanging in our garden, full of fantales which have undoubtedly melted to a soggy mass by now! How cute is he? Never had one before and couldn't bring myself to bash his head in!
Never leave two boys alone in a bath with soap paints! Need I say more?
Luka is finally big enough to ride in our double chariot alongside Joe. They looked so cute (if a little cramped) but had a fab time riding along with Ross at the helm!
