One more for the kitchen.....

Ok, Ok, I know, it's getting obbessive, not to mention boring to read about.  But, here is a lovely little Ballband dishcloth from Mason Dixon Knitting.  You can also get it free online here!  Made it in the Peaches & Creme Ombres in Bubblegum, with the Peaches & Creme Solids in Chocolate for the background.  Quick and satisfying (yet again)!   Got a couple of Skull & Crossbones facewashers lined up for the boys for tree pressies, but they will be more interesting to look at....I promise!!

T-Rex

Got this divine little pattern for Prehistoric Pals from Knitting At Noon and Joe decided that he wanted a T-Rex!  Knit this one up in no time and will be starting a Stegosaurus for Luka next.  I used Noro Kureyon, which despite having a lovely graduated colour, is not the softest yarn in the world.  Sooo I think I might follow the lead of the wonderful Jemma who is making a couple of Brachiosaurus's for her twin boys using the Peaches & Creme Cotton.  Mmm...dilemma!

Dishcloth Frenzy!

I have been totally surprised by Peaches & Creme cotton (a new arrival at The Shack).  Having decided to give a dishcloth a go, to see what the fuss was about (couldn't see the point of knitting dishcloths before!), I now find myself hunting the web for free dishcloth patterns!  Arrggghh!  Gripped I am!

They are quick to knit and the cotton is yum, not to mention the gorgeous colour range.  Strangely satisfying and at the price, you can afford to knit lots without breaking the bank.  Here are 2 I have completed so far.  One is called Flower Power the other is a Mock Cable dishcloth.
