I have quite a stash of Debbie Bliss Wool Cotton tucked away, and always had plans to make the Wool Cotton Kimono in Debbie Bliss's The Baby Knits Book. I did this in the round (again) but in my dazed and confused 'baby brain' state, I forgot that I needed to leave a small opening on each side to pop the wraparound ties through! DOH! So, I am left with the dilemma of finding an alternative closing method! I think that maybe a button on the inside and a chinese knot clasp on the outside? What do you think?

I love the Chinese knot idea - and you could make the ones that are buttons themselves to save yourself the extra button on the inside.

Hi, the Chinese knot sounds like it would be good, plus it would fit in with the general style of the wrap.

Congratulations, looking forward to seeing your next post!
The clasp sounds like a great idea.. and much, much better than the plain original tie. Nicky Epstein's "Knitted Embellishments" has lots of options. (I like the "quatrefoil" if it were done in the contrast colour)
