Ok, Ok, I know I was hankering for a girl, but you know what, I actually don't feel disappointed! Honest guv! It was great to see the little tacker wriggling away, and if I take a look at my two boys playing together, it can't be all bad! I am grieving for the pink knitting, but maybe I'll just have to get more inventive with the blue stuff!

congratulations on the news...boys are great, they are very loving - mine are all teenagers now and I love them to bits... the early years are the challenge they keep you on your toes but now we are cruising...;)

Good luck with the blue knitting.

Hi Emma,
I know just how you feel. I have three boys and wouldnt change them for anything but I would desperately like to knit something in pink with daisies!!

Congratulations. A healthy baby is great news. Mind you I did have my fingers crossed for you for a pink one. (After 2 boys I am also contemplating no. 3 at the moment.) The good news is that you will be the special girl for all 4 of them (husband included).

Lucky you. I looove babies so it does not really matter what they are does it. I know a few friends that have 3 boys, and eventually went back for another, and yes both ended up with girls. Maybe number 4 down the track will be pink.

Congratulations! I have three boys and they are fab (energetic, loud, funny, smelly, loving). My third is 10 months and was a surprise - the others are 9 and 12! I too was hoping to knit pink this time but am very happy with my boys. Enjoy them they will love you forever!
Just found your site and I love it - I am also a brit abroad, came to Melbourne from Yorkshire in 1990

Congratulations Emma! I have 2 beautiful boys and am expecting a 3rd boy in November! It would have been nice for no. 3 to be a girl but I am getting my pink knitting bug out at the moment by knitting for my friends girls.

Congrats on another boy. I know how you feel wanting the opposite sex to the two you have. I have two girls. And if I ever got pregnant again I would want a boy. But probably would get a girl.

I'm also a mum of 3 boys. Wouldn't change them for anything! I've been told there is a special place in heaven for mothers of 3 boys!!!
Congratulations on joining a very special group of mums.

Oooo Don't say that, my monster-in-law has a wooden plaque saying "there's a special place in heaven for mothers of boys" and she's a nightmare! I have to admit I dread turning into what she has become (never letting go of her little boys) as she is the worst case of mother/son attachment I have seen! Hopefully I will be a more laid back mother of boys, rather than one who lives for them and is only happy if they are giving her attention! Lets see!
