As you all know (coz I gloatingly shoved it in your face), this weekend is the IV's Knitting Retreat. I have a knitting dilemma which I am hoping you lot can help me with.
Do I:-
A) take along several projects so that I can chop and change to suit my feelings at the time?
B) take one project and really make headway with it over the weekend!
If it were you facing this quandry, what would you do? Please post your responses, as we arrive at our palace of knitting sin on Friday!
Thanking you muchly!
Despite the fact thatI KNOW option B is the right one, I would always take option A : you need projects to suit different circumstances, some simple knitting for a complicated conversation or darkness and something complicated for when everyone else is lazing around, chilling out!!

There's no need to rub it in about this weekend away. I have two small boys (15 months and 3.5 years) and I would kill for a girlie weekend knitting. I'm so desperate that I have started knitting in the car when I am stopped at red lights. So as far as I am concerned ANY knitting would be good on the weekend.
But, I reckon you take one thing you really want to make serious progress on AND another thing that you want to just try to see how it goes, a speccy ... new wool, new technique whatever .... just in case you get bored. (Not likely having read your previous blogs about IV knit-ins)
Enjoy

Oooo a split jury so far!
Yep, I have a 16 month old and a nearly four year old (both boys) so this weekend Daddy & Grandparents will be holding the fort.....so you can REALLY understand how exciting our knitting retreats are now!!
I may have to compromise here, and do what 2paw says, take a couple of projects, one easy for night time knitting, and one more complicated for day time stuff.
thanks ladies

I am with 2paw. One project for the day and one easy for the night, after all if you have a few G&T's or some wine in the evening you don't want to work on anything too complicated.

I think the compromise sounds ideal.....take one project and devote yourself to it....but have one other simple one on standby as well......
