Despite the fact thatI KNOW option B is the right one, I would always take option A : you need projects to suit different circumstances, some simple knitting for a complicated conversation or darkness and something complicated for when everyone else is lazing around, chilling out!!

Steph

There's no need to rub it in about this weekend away. I have two small boys (15 months and 3.5 years) and I would kill for a girlie weekend knitting. I'm so desperate that I have started knitting in the car when I am stopped at red lights. So as far as I am concerned ANY knitting would be good on the weekend.

But, I reckon you take one thing you really want to make serious progress on AND another thing that you want to just try to see how it goes, a speccy ... new wool, new technique whatever .... just in case you get bored. (Not likely having read your previous blogs about IV knit-ins)
Enjoy

Oooo a split jury so far!

Yep, I have a 16 month old and a nearly four year old (both boys) so this weekend Daddy & Grandparents will be holding the fort.....so you can REALLY understand how exciting our knitting retreats are now!!

I may have to compromise here, and do what 2paw says, take a couple of projects, one easy for night time knitting, and one more complicated for day time stuff.

thanks ladies

Nicole

One project.....try it :)

Helen

I am with 2paw. One project for the day and one easy for the night, after all if you have a few G&T's or some wine in the evening you don't want to work on anything too complicated.

Janine

I think the compromise sounds ideal.....take one project and devote yourself to it....but have one other simple one on standby as well......
